Job Description
- The Shutdown Materials Coordinator is a member of the Shutdown Team responsible for coordinating all materials to ensure all Shutdown Scopes (Maintenance, Operations and Project) materials are tracked and monitored during the entire Shutdown Lifecycle.
- This role will report to the Shutdown PSCM Coordinator and include numerous interfacing and liaisons with COMPANY’s Department Leads, Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors.
- Materials Management Plans, Tracker, and Procedures.
- Ability to manage client relationships in complex situations.
- Safety, Quality, Shutdown Coordination, Projects Coordination, Small Capital Projects
Primary Responsibilities:
- Consolidate BOM take-off from Shutdown Planners.
- Check stock/surplus inventory and raise Reservation/Purchase Requisitions (PR) as per agreed cost centers.
- Implement a coding process for the materials which are not registered in the Maximo/SAP Materials Master Data
- Ensure all materials required for the Shutdown / project to be identified, classified, & validated.
- Assist in Shutdown Materials Cost Estimation.
- Produce and maintain Material Tracking Register / Status Report; especially Long Lead Items which includes all Purchase Requisitions raised, Purchase Order issuance, estimated and actual costs and expected delivery date for Shutdown project.
- Coordinate with Procurement Section and Shutdown Planners / Requestors for all the direct procurement/ non stock material and track them on timely basis.
- Communicates to the focal point with status updates on orders including any issues such as delayed delivery.
- Communicates vendor performance to procurement services
- Works closely with procurement, coding, planning, scheduling and work coordination to provide seamless execution of the Shutdown Materials Management Plan and Process.
- During the Shutdown period, manage to track all the materials and equipment sent to the contractor yard/shop service outside the facility (e.g., Valve, motor, pump, control valve, etc.)
Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree +7 Years experience working in material coordinator.
- Willingness to travel offshore as required (BOSIET & offshore survival).
- Strong and determined leadership for planning and execution activities.
- Attention to detail.

- Ability to identify risks that can affect safety, cost and scheduler.
