Objectives
- Coordinate monitoring of debt/funding settlements/reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that vendor invoices are posted into the ledger in preparation for payment.
- Oversee preparation of payment schedules and payment instructions to commercial banks.
- Reconciliation of USD Revenue/Operations account & other USD denominated bank accounts.
- Preparation of daily cash position and outstanding invoices & remittances.
- Booking of Cash Call Receipt, Revenue and Other Inflows and Charges to the ledger.
- Booking of Bank Interest and Charges and Gas Sales.
Educational Qualifications
- First Degree or its equivalent in Social Science preferably in Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance or Insurance or related fields.
- Certification in Professional membership of any of the relevant body e.g. ACA, ACCA, ANAN, CFA, CIS, CITN.
Experience:
- Minimum of 9 years relevant post qualification experience. Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.
Competence:
- Mastery of local and foreign payments system
- Knowledge of foreign exchange market operations
- Knowledge of accounting systems and practices
- Negotiation skills
- Mastery of foreign exchange risks management
- Mastery of local and international money and capital markets dealings and operations
- Knowledge of financial processes and regulations
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas industry.
