We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lead, Network Infrastructure

Location: Nigeria

Job Objectives

  • Ensure the provisioning & maintenance of channels for voice & data communication locally and with other Corporate sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of strategies for ensuring availability of reliable IT infrastructure in NUIMS.
  • Supervise ICT infrastructures and services to meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure regular availability of IT infrastructure and services, including computing and communications services, in NUIMS.
  • Develop plan for current and future IT infrastructure requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance of contingency plans for systems availability and data safety.
  • Plan, implement and maintain an effective Disaster Recovery regime to support NUIMS’s continued business operations.
  • Ensure the effective planning and deployment of security measures on NUIMS IT infrastructure and services.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on various IT infrastructure upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions.
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation of core IT infrastructure assets.
  • Ensure operational compliance to IT organization strategy, policies, processes and procedures.
  • Plan the implementation of new systems, as may be required.
  • Participate in NUIMS Enterprise IT Strategy and Budget Planning activities.
  • Monitor changes or advancements in IT infrastructure and make recommendations for NUIMS competitive positioning.
  • Maintain close liaison with Head, Core IT Infrastructure at CHQ.
  • Review regular and timely status reports on IT infrastructure and services to DM, IT Infrastructure.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Relevant ICT certifications will be an advantage e.g. MSCE, CCNA, ITIL, etc.
  • Professional membership of local and international ICT bodies will be an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 9 years relevant post qualification experience
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.
