Job Title: Lead, Oil & Ngls Contract Negotiations Advisor
Location: Nigeria
Department: Commercial
Objectives
- Carry out Oil & NGLs commercial origination and negotiation activities to ensure optimum value addition in commercial agreements.
- Carry out Oil & NGLs contract operationalization and ensure profitable marketing of Oil & NGLs
- Timely realization of sales proceeds and maintenance of adequate transaction documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Report Status of Liquid Petroleum and NGLs Contracts for DM, Oil & NGLs Commercials.
- Prepare Report on the Performance of all Offtakers for DM, Oil & NGLs Commercials.
- Prepare request for the engagement of new Liquid Petroleum and NGLs Offtakers for DM, Oil & NGLs Commercials.
- Secure all submitted bids at close of the bid exercises.
- Prepare report of the bid analyses for submission to DM, Oil & NGLs Commercials
- Attend to all enquiries on Liquid Petroleum and NGLs contract.
- Maintain data base of all Liquid Petroleum and NGLs Offtakers.
- Monitor all Liquid Petroleum and NGLs Contracts timeline
- Provide timely and regular reports on the activities of the Department/Section/Unit to the DM, Oil & NGLs Commercials
- Ensure the capacity development of direct reports, through coaching and other learning methods, for career growth, optimal productivity and performance
- Provide regular, formal and informal, feedback on identified gaps of direct reports’ performance and recommend appropriate solutions
- Participate in Liquid Petroleum & NGLs contract development, Contract negotiation, renewal and termination management
- Effective contract risk management and Relationship management
- Review commercial
Educational Qualification
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Business, or related fields
- A Master’s degree is an added advantage Professional qualification and membership of at least one professional body e.g. NGA, NAPE, NSPE, SPE, NSE, COREN, etc.
Experience:
- Minimum of 9 years relevant post qualification experience
- Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.
