Job Title: Security Specialist

Locations: Nigeria

Objectives

  • Responsible for the implementation of security standards, guidelines & architecture with regards to security operations & administration in EnServ for protection of her Assets in relevant locations and campaign location and communicate security risk to all staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementation of EnServ security office and field operations
  • Planning, organizing and coordinating investigations of alleged or suspected violation of laws, regulations and corporate policies concerning criminal matters, fraud, intellectual property or other security issues
  • Prepare security plan, incident and mitigation report to CSO within the agreed timeframe
  • Interface with third parties security and GSA based on the security policy of the company as assigned by the CSO
  • Observe through physical and video surveillance, the activities of guests and employees at all times in Enserv premises
  • Report and offer solutions to any area of vulnerability to loss from internal or external sources to Security Manager
  • Maintain compliance with in-department procedures and policies
  • Maintain the operation of the Surveillance equipment and reporting any deficiencies
  • Maintain a good cordial relationship and Communication between all key stakeholders in the Security division and the company at large
  • Must be safety conscious, and adhere to all company rules at all times
  • Provide timely and quality reports on the activities of the Unit to Manager, Security Services.

Educational Qualifications

  • First Degree or its equivalent in Industrial Security or any relevant discipline in Engineering, Sciences, Social/Physical Sciences, etc.
  • A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • Professional certification in CSMP, PFSO, ASIS-CPP and/or ARC Security Management Stages 1-3, etc. and membership of at least one professional body e.g. ASIS, NIIS, IFPO, etc.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 9 years relevant post qualification experience
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.

Competence:

  • Knowledge of exploration and production operation
  • Knowledge of Security planning, Threat Analysis, risk management and response planning in the Niger Delta and Frontier Basins
  • Intelligence gathering skills
  • Expert investigation skills
  • Strong Interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Networking & relationship management skills
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Operational knowledge of Close Circuit Television (CCTV) and Intruder Detection Systems (IDS).
