Determine Eligibility

  • Proof of Financial Means: Bank statements, pay slips, or other evidence showing you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your stay. The minimum amount required is generally around €100 per day.
  • Cover Letter: A letter explaining the purpose of your visit, your itinerary, and how you plan to fund your stay.
  • Employment/Business Documents: If applicable, provide a letter from your employer stating your job title, salary, and approval of your leave, or documents showing your business activities.
  • Proof of Civil Status: This may include a marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, or any other documents showing your civil status.

Schedule an Appointment

  • Contact the Spanish consulate or embassy in your country to schedule an appointment for submitting your application. Some consulates require you to book this appointment well in advance, as slots can fill up quickly.

Submit Your Application

  • Attend your appointment at the consulate or visa application center. Bring all required documents and be prepared to provide biometric data (fingerprints and photograph).
  • Pay the visa fee, which is generally around €80 for adults. Some applicants may qualify for reduced or waived fees.

Wait for Processing

  • Visa processing typically takes between 15 to 30 days. However, it can sometimes take longer, so apply well in advance of your planned travel dates.

Collect Your Visa
